Recombinant Human IgG2 Standards

The IgG2 subclass is the second most abundant IgG behind IgG1.  IgG2s have a shorter hinge region compared to IgG1s and generally activates complement less efficiently than IgG1 and IgG3.  IgG2s target bacterial polysaccharides and play a key role in respiratory infection defense.
