Collection: Recombinant Human IgG4 Standards

IgG4 antibodies differ from the more widely studied and naturally abundant IgG1 antibodies.  In addition to having a shorter hinge region and differences in disulfide bond placement, IgG4s have reduced effector function.  The unique role that IgG4s play in immune function make them ideal for certain therapeutic purposes.  GlycoScientific offers a human monoclonal IgG4 kappa antibody purified from protein free CHO culture.
